The neighborhood of Westwood sits within the central northwestern section of the city of Los Angeles. Westwood is home to the sprawling UCLA campus and the cathedral of college hoops known as Pauley Pavilion. The college game of basketball begins and ends in Westwood through the game’s legendary guru, John Wooden. Known as the Wizard of Westwood, Wooden led the Bruins to 7 consecutive NCAA titles and a total of 10 titles over the span of 12 years.
